Exxon misled the public on climate change

According to the office of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says it has enough evidence to prove that Exxon Mobil misled shareholders about global warming, and how it may impact the company’s business.

In documents filed on Friday, indicates that ex-CEO Rex Tillerson knew about the damage climate change can have on its company and never informed anyone about it. The allegations date back as far as 2007. Exxon denied the accusations in a statement on Friday. The company claims, “The documents produced to the attorney General make this fact unmistakably clear.” The documents also claim Exxon refused to hand over important documents to investigators such as emails from top executives.

Trump turns to Twitter after attack on London

Trump lashed out at the Supreme Court on Twitter for blocking the administration’s travel ban. He wants a Supreme Court hearing to urge the Justice Department to make tougher laws for people who enters the United States after the terrorist attack in London.

In a series of tweets, Trump insisted the travel ban is necessary for the U.S. in the wake of the London attack over the weekend. He wants to push for stricter laws on the Travel ban. Also, Trump expressed anger towards the major of London. He believes that the major did not do enough to prevent the attack from happening.

Trump also disregard using the word “travel ban” even though the U.S. district court citied the phase as displeasing to non-citizens of the U.S. Trump believes that the direct court wrote “a-water-down version” of the bill after he gave the “politically correct version.”
